Female sculpted

Took an evening off from directing (Carol's turn) and worked on the female figure of this set.

 Shifted her balance a bit. Also tiled him back a bit to counter balance her a bit more.

 Don't you just love the curves and planes of the human form?!

A little hint: he will have wings.

Second figure

After a great deal of thought I have chosen a direction for this figure. I am adding a second figure to him. Here is the start of the rough in:

The male will need to have his eyes repainted to change his focus. More in the days to come.

Sculpture from Class

Hi there,
 As promised, I have been away for awhile. We held our September class with a wonderful group of artists who were not only a joy to have with us but also very talented.
Dracula rehearsals have begun. I am training the new tech crew and assisting with the directing so my spare time is at a premium.
In addition, we had a bit of an accident here which has required me to do more household duties than normal. Five class members kept me on my toes so I was not able to finish a figure in the class but I have done some work since then in my spare time.
